The Media Tab in eTAM XTC allows users to access the media items from the supplied TV ratings data. The structure or hiearachy will differ depending on the data supplier but typically contains the levels Panel, Market, Network and Station.
Users can make media selections which can be straight selections from the supplied hierarchy an/or they can create custom media groups. The selection can be used for just the current report workspace or it can be saved for future use. Users can access any saved media files at either Supplier, Site or Other user profiles, however if changes are made to a saved media file - the user can only "Save As' a copy to their own user profile so that the original media file is not affected.

Media Hierarchy Levels
The media tab consists of the following media levels:

Panel - Top line result for the entire panel.

Market (Metro panels only) - The markets that are available within the panel. For example; Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Agg-Market (Regional panels only) - The regional markets available within the panel. For example; Norther NSW (NNSW), South NSW (SNSW), Queensland and Victoria.

Sub-Market (Regional Panel) - Sub Markets available in the regional panel. Submarkets are what make up an Agg Market for example; Northern Rivers, New Castle, Tamworth Taree are part of NNSW.

Network - The available networks within a panel. If media is selected at the network level, this will include all markets/stations that make up that network.

Network Group - Network Primary Stations are grouped separately from Network Multi stations. For example, Seven Primary will only include Seven Syd, Seven Mel, Seven Bri, Seven Ade and Seven Per.

Sub Network - A group of Stations which consits of either primary or multi stations as well as subscription stations with time shifted channels.

Stations - Individual stations.
Media Filters
The Media Filters "filters" the available items in the selection windows. By default, the Spill filter is not selected while the four options of FTA, FTA (inc SBS), STV and Other (ABC, SBS, Comm) are. Users can have multiple filters selected at one time which will display the following selectable items:
- FTA (7,9,10) - Will display for Network Seven, Network Nine, and Network 10 stations
- FTA (Inc SBS) - Will display for Network Seven, Network Nine, Network 10 and SBS Networ stations
- STV - Will display STV stations
- Other - Will display ABC Network, SBS Network , Other (other stations such as comunity stations) and ALL TV, FTA TV station groupings.
- Spill - Will display spill stations.
When there has been no items selected in the selected pane, which ever box is selected in the media filters will be used. For example if "FTA" has been selected; the report will display Network 7,9, 10
